Brave Saint Saturn Update: Roper Is Not Out.

Brave Saint Saturn One of our readers wrote in regarding our recent report on Brave Saint Saturn's new summer release to shed some light on the details of the project -- and they definitely shocked us. The reader sent us a convincing email posing as Keith Hoerig from Five Iron / Brave Saint Saturn claiming that Roper had left the band and Keith had taken over vocal duties. It turns out, it was just the Five Iron message board kiddies having a little fun with the BS2 fans by posting a bogus email for the band online (which is how our reader was duped, and then us as well).

According to Reese Roper's official myspace, he's still involved with the project. Here's what Reeses's page says (www.myspace.com/fiveironsucks)...

"Here is the news: 1. We are hoping to have the last installment of the Brave Saint Saturn trilogy out this June. It will be called ANTI-MERIDIAN, and we hope it will be the best of the three. It will be available on itunes and various other download sites, and you will be able to order the actual album, made of real plastic from our website. 2. The BS2 website http://www.bravesaintsaturn.com will hopefully be up ASAP, and have some early samples of songs from the new album. 3. I am playing two accoustic sets this year at Soulfest, and maybe I will add a few more. 4. The FIF DVD is still in the works."
